This year has been a wild, incredible ride — one full of change, creativity, heartbreak, healing, and the steady rhythm of one song a day.

I spent the first part of 2025 out of work, living in a cabin and working on a creek in rural Virginia, trying to find my way. In that quiet, uncertain time, I launched The Daily Chorus — a personal challenge to sing a song every day and keep creating, no matter what.

I didn’t know where it would go… but 350+ songs later, it’s become the heartbeat of my year.

We sold a house. Bought a house. Gutted it. Moved again. I played shows. I wrote and released music. I released my first-ever live EPLive from Taco Loco — capturing one of the rawest, most special performances I’ve ever given. I met new fans, reconnected with old ones, and built something truly personal with my Wall of Fans, which now has over 1,700 names (and counting).

In the midst of all this — my dad was in the hospital, we lost our sweet dog Ophie, and in one moment of personal turmoil… I shaved my head. 😅

If you’ve been following along, you’ve seen all of it — the highs, the lows, the raw honesty, the ridiculousness.

Thank you… and I’m sorry you had to see some of that. lol

The Daily Chorus: 350+ Songs Deep

I started with “I’ll Be” by Edwin McCain. Since then, I’ve gone everywhere — from Tom Petty to Taylor Swift, from Weezer to Wonder, from The Beatles to my own original songs. I even did a duet with my daughter.

To celebrate, I pulled together a word cloud of every artist I’ve covered this year — scaled by how often they showed up in The Daily Chorus.

(Oasis, Tom Petty, Third Eye Blind, and Radiohead fans — I see you.)

Over 1,700 Fans and Counting

I started building my Wall of Fans as a way to thank the people who’ve joined me on this journey. It started with a few names… and now it’s more than 1,700 strong, from all across the country and around the world.

A Tribute to Ophie 🐾

No year-end post would be complete without a moment for Ophie, my sweet dog, my companion through so many Daily Chorus sessions. She was often curled up at my feet while I recorded, or lounging quietly in the background of my videos.

Miss her every day. ❤️

Coming in 2026

There’s so much more ahead. I’ve started booking more live shows. I’ll keep The Daily Chorus rolling. I’m diving deeper into my catalog with a new blog series I’m calling SongDive — a place where I’ll share the lyrics, stories, and behind-the-scenes of my original songs. (Stay tuned — that’s coming soon!)

And most of all — I’m going to keep writing, singing, and sharing with you.

I couldn’t have done any of this without the support of my family — truly. They’ve been with me through every note, every move, every breakdown, and every breakthrough. I’m forever grateful.

To everyone who’s watched a video, shared a post, streamed a song, joined the Wall, or cheered me on…

Thank you for being here.

Let’s see what the next 365 days bring.

– PB
